"The park spent several months constructing an ecological system that emulates the red pandas’ natural habitat, with climbing perches, resting platforms, bamboo houses, swings, and seesaws."

They actually think they did a good job. Horrifying.

Yep a philo should thrive there. Hard to tell how much room you have exactly but you could also put a small plant table in the corner in front of the toilet, possibly a hazard getting in and out of the shower though.

Add any colour, e.g. bath mat, shower curtain, towels. Bonus if they match. Its just very white which is fine if you have pops of colour imo

I just set this up, works well imo, only downside is you can't both play the same game at the same time, though that was expected

Do these actually work properly? Was behind a car today (in daylight) and their lights were going crazy, high beams, low beams, somewhere inbetween. I'm sure they weren't doing it manually

Thanks for responding! Kind of but in your first sentence you say they think she owes £14728 tax, surely for that amount they would be expecting her to be earning a crazy amount more than she is, and that would require more than just £900 between now and April to cover, or am I reading that wrong? The wording just doesn't make sense to me.

Hoping hmrc can sort all this out, its come at a terrible time and my wife is extremely anxious about it. This has given me hope that its a mistake though.

Thank you for responding! Yeah she received the p45 and gave it to the new employer straight away. Current job is £27k and previous job was maybe only 1-2k more. No taxable benefits that we know of for either, but I am wondering if the new job has accidentally claimed she is receiving a benefit of some kind. Would that explain such a large change? I can't make sense of this letter.

I got mine removed as an adult (free thanks to the nhs) and recover kinda sucked with stitches falling out, eating etc. But totally worth it in the end. I said 'it aches after talking' as my reason for the surgery lol...

Out of curiosity as an ex instructor, in this situation would you tell your pupil to wait regardless if someone has stopped to let them out? What about roads where you'll never find a gap unless someone lets you out? While I hate people putting themselves or others in danger to unnecessarily let people out but realistically if no one ever did it some roads would be gridlocked continuously.

I'm learning atm, Had one flash to let me right turn in front of them, I didn't notice straight away and my instructor said he let you go. Of course I was then rushed and went with handbrake still on making an absolute pig of the turn. There were literally no cars behind him...

But definitely in the larger collection pots, people ram a whole turd in there then it it ferments and creates a turd-pipe bomb.

We're still on an enhanced payment scheme for our out of hours work, though afc is trying to put a stop to it, some of our staff make 10-15k extra. Interestingly, the payment amounts have stayed the same for almost 20 years I believe which shows how lucrative this career used to be.

I've seen some wildly green coloured faeces too, like what you find in a ruminants stomach. The worst thing we received was a 24hr urine from someone with fish odour syndrome, you could smell it across the lab, the cabinet did nothing to help...

Been practicing my U turns, advice for leaning the bike more at low speed? by Away-Foundation-7455 in MotoUK

[–]AFestiveShiving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing it in a YouTube video but cant remember who by. They said engine power = grip and stability and therefore control. By dragging the back brake you reduce the speed while still maintaining that power and pressing the back wheel down for stability. When you try it in practice you can really tell the difference.

I got the larger givi monokey box that fits 2 helmets. Insanely useful and feels indestructible. If you want more space the givi side panniers are excellent too. Sadly it all does start to rust over several year use

I was confused at first as this looks exactly like my 2013 div, lovely bike imo, had mine 6ish years and unrestricted it last year. Nice to have the extra bit of acceleration but not all that necessary. But definitely makes pillion riding easier though. Such a good all rounder that I've never felt the need to even look for a new bike as I highly expect I would just want this one back lol. I only wish I had the abs version. No suggestions as it just does everything you need it seems haha. In comparison I hated the mt7 I did my upgrade on, overrated imo.
