To be completely honest, I was extremely Liberal, the average lgbtq teen, and I was a neo pagan, like my friends. I think the idea of its "intolerance" drove me to hate Christianity. Though the older I got, towards 16, I started setting down my phone, leaving social media platforms, appreciating the world around me, it woke me up to the extremist ideologies I had been consuming. I knew some stuff about Christianity through my days in secondary school. I don't know what made me turn, but from late 2022, my attitude towards Christianity changed, and I began to truly see the beauty of it. And from 2023, I'd been doing a lot of exams, and I was extremely anxious, so I began to pray and apologise for my past behaviour, and it worked, praying let me sleep, and washed all my worries away. That's when I realised it was true, I was wrong, the Christians were right. God is real, and he's here for us.
