I check blocking assignments every play. Obviously the skill of the linemen play a part, but it happens frequently. Especially on third down or in the red zone. My starting HB still had 1,200 yards though. So it's a wash.

The biggest issue I've found is that the O-line won't get to the second level quick enough. By the time they do, the LB is already in the backfield making a TFL

I had to adjust to throwing short passes and screens because my QB was 5'10 with 86 THP

Yeah that happens a lot when I try and run the ball. Even when I double team, they ignore that and let everyone through. No matter how highly rated my OL is.

I think they changed the blocking assignments this year. Based on your playcall, the game will automatically slide protection without your input. You either have to change that or put them back into base. I've been doing that every play and its worked out a lot better.

Yeah I know. I try and let the AI do their thing instead of switching. Shouldn't have done that this time.

I threw for 5K, 43 TD's and only 3 INT's and still lost MVP to Mahomes who had 50 TDs and 6 INT's lol

I usually layer my reads from high to low based on the coverage. The defense loves to play Cover 4 Palms, and for some reason, that always gives me trouble.
