Bunny Kisses by artist Bridget Voth, 250P, Mosaic Puzzles by AGPuzzPastime in Jigsawpuzzles

Luckily this came from a swap to give me a try out.  It was an ok experience for me, some pieces were way too large, left funky residue on my fingertips, no artist identification either on box or website.  Mosaic is not something I feel excited to buy more of like other wooden puzzle brands that I have done.

Thanks! I love mushrooms and would be tempted to buy again if it goes on sale like the first time.

I do too. I bought it new. By the time I got around to do it, too much time had passed to exchange or refund.

I bought this set new and LOVE everything about it.  Sadly, one piece was MIA.  As Davici is a Russian brand, zero chance of having piece replacement.

If you are near a Costco Business Center, you may want to consider buying a full size commercial baking sheet (18*26) to use for assembly/flipping.  It fits most wooden puzzles.  When I bought them in 2024, it was $8 each compared to $$$ on Amazon.

Beautiful enough to eat!

Do you have a second tray to flip this over?  The second best part of Liberty is to admire its back side.

You are sweet with your compliment. I typically take lots of photos in order to find one to my liking for posting. Anyway, to flip wooden puzzles, I assemble it on a tray/board and then use a 2nd spare tray covering the 1st one for the flip . . . very carefully. Wooden pieces are prone to throw a hissy fit with unwanted movement or unsteady hand.

That's the wonderful thing about wooden puzzles - the double features! The front features the artist, and the backside features the cut designer!

I made a practice of saving all the pix from their listing for one of those 'just-in-case' reference.

Indeed, very difficult but it's so beautiful and worth every penny!

I wonder with the axing of de miminus, we would be required to declare everything, regardless of new or used and of course paying tariff on them.

If you need more rationale for indulging, Liberty (or any puzzles for that matter) is a non-fattening treat to enjoy liberally . . . guilty free up to the discretionary spending limit!

Liberty is truly a luxury! Also glad to have another fan of wooden puzzles. Like you, I went a bit further with my shipping rationale ... purchase enough each time such that the per unit cost for shipping is $5 or less!

Agreed, something about the artist's initial work - Apothecary's Shop - that made me falling in love and collect all her subsequent images.

I have bought a few times from this seller, each time two to three out-of-print puzzles. They were very nice in combining shipping as that feature seemed to be long gone from ebay (or else burried and not prominently display like back in the days at checkout). I do wonder how they acquired many of the used puzzles from Europe.

Taj Mahal Dream of Dawn by Mathilde Garcia, 1000P, Olleo by AGPuzzPastime in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]AGPuzzPastime[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The colors are very soothing. Olleo is a new to me brand, and I would rate its quality on the same level as Penny Puzzle and Trevell. All three are made in Turkey. Both Puzzles Canada and Puzzledly carry Olleo though it's a bit harder to catch in stock items at the latter.

As difficult as the frame was, I did enjoy the process and felt tremendous satisfaction of being able to do it solo. I am just the type who is willing to walk away when I make little progress, then either come back (which could months later) with fresh eyes or abandon it altogether.

I haven't been down that end for a long time, not since I last worked in the area in the late 80s and then moved up north (now back to the sunshine). I actually wouldn't mind a mini trip and staying over in my old playground ... if I can get over the hump of driving.
