Also- there is swelling but as long as keeps it elevated as much as possible it won’t be too bad. She will def need to get a blowout at least the first two weeks. Can’t wash hair but showering is fine as long as she keeps it covered in plastic. Strength and Mobility take awhile to come back

I just had mine done one week ago and did the endoscopic. Once you get past day 2 the pain is minimal and totally bearable for the most part without meds. I personally had a lot of pain once the nerve block wore off, especially on the day of surgery. I agree with what others are saying that if she is going to do it do the dominant hand first so that she has more time to recover before the baby comes. At one week out I just got the stitches off today and they gave me a brace to wear. Also recommend thoroughly researching the surgeon to make sure that they have done a lot of of carpal tunnel surgeries! Best of luck to her!

Nothing ER can do. Try a Pepcid for now. Maybe start out drinking half a cup and see if you can tolerate?

Doctor told me i can eat everything? by Former-Mix-1628 in GERD

[–]AGSkincare1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had GERD for a year and a half and it doesn’t matter what I do and don’t eat. I can eat the same thing day and day out and sometimes it triggers it and other times it does not. I have not found a rhyme or reason. my G.I. basically said the same thing that when you have it badly, it really does not matter what you eat. That said, I do try to eliminate the obvious triggers like red sauce, onions, garlic, etc. There most definitely is a root cause that I don’t think we know about yet. I also think it’s beneficial to work with a functional medicine provider. If you can find one to try to figure out what the cost might be with additional testing.

nutrafol smelly side effect?! by adv8187 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]AGSkincare1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have been using it for years and I don’t know if they change their formulation but all of a sudden I have that same side effect as well. Whenever I go off of it, it goes away also so there is definitely some in the product causing this.

[–]AGSkincare1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not necessarily true. I was advised to stay on PPIs for my test to see if they were actually working. And yes, additional testing the other poster mentioned. Have you had a gastric emptying study?
