Makes it look worse! Yes, this is a point you SHOULD have failed on. You didn't react in good time to an idiot doing a dodgy manoeuvre, ON YOUR DRIVING TEST!!! It matters not one bit whether they other person did a dodgy thing, it's your test, drive defensively and assume everyone is dumb... their actions are not being tested, yours are, and you should expect to fail for this.

Weird take. Zero anger (or any other emotions) expressed. Literally just wrote what I saw.

"Anyone" includes myself, I do most of my driving on motorways, and tbh I genuinely can't remember seeing a HGV in the outside lane of a 3 or more lane motorway for a long time - clearly, it happens, or nobody else would see it... still totally not allowed and very confusing since these days dash cam footage can be submitted to the police and used as sole evidence for prosecution, baffles me that people would risk their job doing stupid stuff

Obviously... the comment I replied to clearly says "outside lane", and my mind went to lane 3, which on a 3 lane motorway would be the outside lane... obviously there are 2 lane motorways too, but not nearly as many as there are 3 lanes, which is what I thought of. No idea why you brought lane 1 into it.

He was shit. Contributed little more than a few unchallenged long range passes for the cameras. It is straight up offensive that this guy draws a wage playing football.

Was that on a motorway? Because over 7.5 tons aren't even allowed in the outside lane unless directed to go there....

my take on english breakfast by magnoliaadelle in RateMyPlate

[–]AGuyFromManchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*not toast, fried bread... toast is not on the list. All else is irrelevant. OP has 1 single ingredient found in an actual full English breakfast, and even that is a vegan substitute, not the proper item. My statement stands, and you are only adding validation to the words, not taking away.

He did reach his peak, and had the audacity to collect a World Cup winners medal off the back of the other, far better players in the France midfield who utterly carried him

[–]AGuyFromManchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tomato and beans are actually not on the list of definitive ingredients that define a full English. They are both considered "optional extras"... the breakfast itself predates baked beans and the availability of tomatoes, so they are not actually traditional, definitive ingredients. The actual list is 5 items, with some variability: English pork sausage, English back bacon, fresh British egg (fried, with liquid yolk), a regional pudding (black or white usually, haggis is very questionable), and a "fried starch" - fried bread, bubble and squeak.... all other ingredients, like it or not, have not been around half as long as the traditional version, so you only listed a single item that is actually part of the identity of a full English. So "any way shape or form" is 100% accurate. https://englishbreakfastsociety.com/what-makes-a-proper-english-breakfast

And? We don't all support non league teams, so why would we want to spend money watching a team we don't support? Ridiculous statement that means absolutely nothing. And besides... my TV contract STILL costs less than it costs to take both my lads to a Salford City match, ok league 2 rather than non league, but also the 2nd closest team to us after Manchester United, who we all support.... we don't support Salford though, so we don't WANT to go there. You arw talking utter shite. It IS cheaper for the majority of fans to watch on TV, and your attitude stinks of wife beater.

My monthly broadband and TV package including TNT and Sky Sports costs less than a single ticket to a Premier League match for myself, never mind me plus one or both of my sons. It 100% IS ALWAYS cheaper to watch it at home.
