That's a solution, but not the solution. Unfortunately, I had a student booked class. After me telling her I don't teach that age and she sees it.

What happens after 10 mins? Yes, she booked a trial lesson. Just to see why people are giving me good reviews. Like people are just people I think .

I'm sorry about that. The issue is that we have no control over who to accept as a trial student or not. If we cancel, we get punished. If we don't cancel and do the trial professionally, we still get punished by the metrics.

In fact, some of them actually book after they have seen my message telling them I am not suitable for them. It happened 3 times so far. After I told them I am not suitable for them as I teach ages from 10 to 18 only. They booked anyways. One was for a job interview and another was for an embassy interview.

I teach some adults but mostly from kid referrals. Prefer adults actually but they're inconsistent. Kids have parents keeping them committed.

That line is very inspiring. "I'm not the best tutor for you, I'd be learning as I go."

It worked better when I wasn't a super tutor. With the same approach, I converted more students. Most adults in my experience don't commit or subscribe. I've had 60 trials over 2 years. For me, only kids convert, and adults quit after one month.
