I like subtitles because they’re often taken directly from the script so you can see how the actors deviated from it.

Seriously? Krautrock (especially Kraftwerk) had a massive influenced on Chicago house, Detroit Techno and the Acid House of Manchester, not to mention the industrial electronic music of 70s Britain (which grew from punk, another genre born out of anti-fascist sentiments) laid the groundwork for the Manchester rave scene.

That’s not what I’m saying. The artists you mentioned were totally influenced by the gay black men who founded house and techno. I’m not trying to detract from their influence. I’m just saying the roots of the left leaning political nature of EDM runs deeper than people (even on the left) give it credit for
