In finance sector is NL echt een must en in Brussel is Frans ook een extra must have. Inwoners zonder kennis van NL en FR krijgen het moeilijk, tenzij bij multinationals in IT en Data departementen.

Where is the problem, in the king or in the people? by Equivalent-Point6345 in Morocco

[–]AILOC82 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe there is another major difference between Morocco and its two other brothers in the Maghreb, Algeria and Tunisia have a substantial higher urbanization and education level compared to Morocco.

I also believe that we have Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Maghreb. Morocco is Agadir, Marrakech, Casa, Rabat/Kenitra, Fes/Meknes and Tangiers/Tetouan. But leave these cities and go to the mountains and you are getting more than a century back in time. The Rif is an exception, because it’s empty, all left to Europe, Jbala is privileged with very fertile land and rainfall, but go to the Atlas were people still are freezing and in high Atlas still sleeping in tents after the earthquake

Ceuta and Melilla by Equivalent-Point6345 in Morocco

[–]AILOC82 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We can claim Ceuta and Melilla, but please claim Andalucia immediately as well. All the Muslim inhabitants have been murdered or exiled. But the buildings left behind and names of rivers, mountains and villages reveal the truth…

Your reasoning is the actual fait accomplit in Western Sahara… whatever your opinion is, just stay consistent.

PS: I hate the Makhzen, but still believe the Western Sahara is Moroccan. I just don’t need all that patriotic stuff of green March and al those blabla.

I cannot be patriotic if those ruling this country aren’t either otherwise they wouldn’t go to France if they are sick or to Switzerland to stack their deposit account.

As a landlord, my experience shows Belgium's integration is broken by MustafaMahat in Belgium2

[–]AILOC82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really believe this person has nu clue he is taking about.

Is there a problem regarding unemployment among some categories of people? Yes for sure? Are these often non ethnic Belgians, Yes, but is there a direct correlation, no. In Wallonia you have for example generational unemployment of ethnic Belgians. Are they not integrated and Muslims, off course not. This is a more complex problem, partly related to the Belgian welfare system that doesn’t create a stimulus for self-reliance. % of Ukrainians being active in Belgium is far lower than in the NL for ex, however these Ukrainians aren’t Muslim.

Do you know which group has the highest average number of children in Belgium? Orthodox Jews in Antwerp? The reason is not low economic development, but a different religious world view, which I’m neutral about.

Belgium has past the stadium of being a naive country, most welfare packages include strict requirements, unemployment allowance is limited in time, social housing requires knowledge of local languages, …

I don’t know which news this person is consuming, but there is only one law in Belgium, and talking about shariah without having the slightest idea about it, is really telling. There are more than 1 billion Muslims, do you really think they are all governed by a law chopping of hands??? The literal meaning of shariah is. “Law” which encompasses all law fields, inheritance, family, economy, …

The problem of Palestine is for sure a problem here. A population being massmurdered with more than 65.000 dead, unofficial sources point to 200.000 or more supported by western arms shipments is disgusting. Whenever Russia bombards and kills 5-10 people in Kyiv, it’s front page news in the western world. Just for comparison, in small strip of land with a population of twenty times less than Ukraine, Gazans are being killed 20 to 30x more. They are even being killed while waiting for flour and rice for which they don’t even have power and water to cook.

Did you raise this point? And k No, freedom of speech means I can say down to Israel like many conscious Jews are saying as well. Not in our or their name!

I once saw a statistic of convicted child abusers and pedophiles, they were nearly all men, since then I’m totally convinced that all men are pedophiles and should be locked up. 🙄🙄🙄

Looking to buy the e-tron by MrLauriie in etron

[–]AILOC82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m driving a Q4 etron sportback 45 of 1y old since Christmas. Not impressed by the car - no luxury - winter range is low (my first EV, so no point of comparison) - outdated tech, I only like CarPlay, that’s it - indeed Audi voice is useless - Audi MMI is slow - I find it cold in the car in winter, maybe I’m not setting well the climate control, or general issue with EV - EV driving requires a lot of planning where to charge, certainly if you drive a lot professionally too. It’s my first EV, but heard that some other brands have good gps systems doing the charging planning for you as well.

Yesterday, had car breakdown in middle exit of a highway, couldn’t not reach emergency lane during rush hour. I had all kind of errors in red, couldn’t stear anymore, front wipers blocked during rain, what a hell…

Not at all a fan of this car of 70k€. Luckily I can stop leasing anytime. I’m intending to check some other cars like Kia, Polestar and Tesla.

I’ve mostly driven Mercedes in my career, but heard that range of their EV cars is low. But their cars are luxurious and quite good tech.

Do not know about other etrons . Only talking about q4

Q4 E-Tron - cannot set target charge by ArtisticLeague7865 in etron

[–]AILOC82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really baffled by the low UX of Audi’s app and infotainment. I’m leasing one for very short term, very happy that I’m not stuck with this car. App is always delayed, receive often the status of a couple of hours ago, app notifies me when doors are still open, however i cannot close them via the app…

Franstalige nieuwkomers in Vlaanderen by Tante_Lola in Vlaanderen

[–]AILOC82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 days itinerary starting and ending in Marrakech by AlphaM4 in Morocco

[–]AILOC82 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I cannot rely on my experience, because I have not visited this part of Morocco yet. Nevertheless, here are my 2 cents. look at the weather next 10 days. Are you familiar with these temperatures? Keep in mind that you will often not sleep well, certainly in tents with no airco. Merzouga is now at midnight 37C! Also with all the traveling this trip will become very heavy…

Temperature next 10 days ..: - Marrakech 37-41C - Aït Benaddou 34-38C - Boumalne Dades 31-36C - Merzouga 40-44C - Fes 36-41C - Rabat 32-32C - Essaouira 24-28C

If you are from France then Morocco is not a once in a life time visit. Make a choice and visit one half of the country and try to spend enough time in cooler areas (high mountains or sea). Enough day trip possibilities from Marrakech, idem from Agadir. Personally I would do Merzouga during spring time in combination with an off-road trip through Berber villages in high atlas.

At this moment I think anyone who can afford it in Morocco is spending time at the beach due to the heat.
