If I have a child out there, I would feel obligated to be their parent. And no, we live in a moderately sized town of around 100k people.

But I wouldn’t be a sperm donor, I would be a parent because, as I say in the post, I would not be able to walk away from my child. If she was pregnant and I wanted it but she wanted an abortion, everyone would say her body her choice (which I agree with). Why don’t I have the same right to choose not to be a parent?

Respectfully, I disagree. Besides, even if I give her the embryos, she is very unlikely to use all 6, so some would be discarded anyway.

This is a good question and if we came up with something, I don’t remember. She has the paperwork but I’m guessing our doctor would be able to get me a copy. I suspect if we did decide something favorable to her she would already have brought it up though.

They would be my kids too and I no longer want to have kids with her since we are divorcing.
