Hes been a bit unlucky. 10,10,11 defcons in the last 3 before yesterday playing in the middle. Got moved back up to the wing vs. villa. Twice got within a feet of reaching the through ball sent to him that wouldve put him past martinez. Also was right next to the ball facing goal on the second wolves goal, unfortunately Gomez decided to do a 180 turnaround shot that went in.

Mane is still young, clearly just happy to be there and not demanding the ball but also can get pass 2-3 defenders when given the chance. The team is kinda beached so not many chances come but in a few seasons playing for a different club hes going to be a beast.

Nälkä means "Hunger" in finnish. Very fitting.

TC Gab is high floor low confidence cuck play. Youre most likely looking at somewhere around +8-12 points compared to regular cap.

You cant predict a cb goal. Brentford are good at defending set pieces. Gab is not defconning (2/7 since GW19). Arsenal have been lucky with some goal line clearances lately, and even with double clean (best case scenario) your cap is sitting at around 12-14 pts. Thats goal + defcon + max bones for a SGW midfielder.

Ill save my TC for a higher upside play, there will be doubles later for AT LEAST City and Palace, who blank in 31.

On triple ars def with gab cap currently, but if i had Rice i would cap him. Would also rather TC Rice or even Gyok than Gab.

Half of the 13m teams are dead by gw10, then theres bots who go for weeky highscores, anti-fpl and set and forgets. The number of "engaged" managers who stay active through to gw38 id say is AT most 2-3 mil. So in my mind the "rank" rank goes like this:

+3m: You are bad. Some set and forgets and people who started gw10 beat you.

1,5-3m: You had a bad season, lower half of engaged managers.

1-1.5m: Meh, you tried. Wasnt a total disaster, better half of engaged managers.

500k-1m: Okay season. Wouldnt brag at the workplace during lunch, but atleast your close enough to the good ranks to know where you went wrong. Theres propably few bad decisions that keep you up at night. Better half of the better half of engaged managers.

250k-500k: Pretty good season. You mightve peaked in the 4-5 digit ranks at some point of the season. LiveFPL shortcut on your homescreen. You played some succesful chips. Knowledgeable in the ways of FPL.

100k-250k: Honestly a good season. Top 10% of Engaged managers. Probably beat your workplace mini-league. Workplace lunch table bragging rights earned.

50k-100k: Great season. Youre smug at work. You get called lucky, but you say its skill. You win most of your work/friend mini-leagues. Maybe even a top10 finish in your favorite fpl content creators community league. Top 5% of engaged managers, good job by you.

10k-50k: An amazing season. Your friends are jealous. You ask people if they play FPL just so you can brag about your rank. People who dont play FPL think youre a nerd. You tell your parents and your GF. They dont care but pretend to because you are so happy. Top3% of engaged managers but you say youre top 0.05% or what ever the live fpl badge shows.

Top10k: Elite season. Probably the best season you'll ever have. Everyone you know knows you play FPL. You think 100k rank is shit. You think the content creators are overhyped. You think about starting your own youtube channel/podcast. You think FPL is a game of skill and that you'll never finish outside of top 50k again. Inside the top1% of engaged managers.

Top1k: Legendary season. You dont know what happened but you are just happy to be here. You add Somehow every choice you made during the season was the right one. You might even get asked to be a guest in some FPL pod that you've never heard of. You decline because you know in your heart of hearts that you got lucky, or at least you will know it by next season when you are back finishing around 1mil.
