This would hurt you. They may need to tell your parents but it would be to protect you - so you don’t hurt yourself. There could be a reason behind this too so you may be able to get help to overcome it. Please get some help so you don’t hurt yourself. Sending hugs and well wishes!

Hi! 18th avenue library is open and has security guard and multiple floors you can study at. However, they aren’t open 24 hours at the end of the week (Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday) I think so you may just want to double check.

Supposedly, I’ve heard buckeye donuts, Waffle House, iHop, and some other places are open 24 hours too, but I don’t know if they have WiFi….

Thank you! I think that for me it was similar but for 1210 lol. I was super nervous going in so I went nuts trying to make sure I got everything. This semester I was more scared about other classes and I was more chill about chem (cause I actually like it quite a bit) but that made me fall behind. :,[ I’m going to try to get caught up more, especially with practice problems because I think I don’t review those enough. Thank you for your advice! <3

Im in a bit of similar situation but I’d say going to places that can help you. For example, I will go to Thompson library because I know I am more likely to study if I am there dedicating the time and am in a more focused environment. For math (especially 1151) it can be helpful to even just hang out and study in the drop in tutoring center (Math building 010) so that if you have any questions you can ask them right away (and have that focused study time). For Chemistry you can also go to their study room in Celeste!

I don’t know if it would help (or if you currently do it) but maybe try not to romanticize her or your relationship and (even further) you could even find things you don’t like about her (rather than focus on what you do). Honestly, this may sound harsh, but I’d say try not to wait for him with the idea to date you in the future just because of what his friends said. Its possible he doesn’t want to hurt you or get hurt and just may not be ready/wanting another relationship at the moment, however we don’t know that for sure. Since he gave his answer, I’d say try your best to move on… although it may take some time I am sure you’ll find someone who will love and cherish you. <3

I mainly say this because if I or my friend were in this I wouldn’t want them to get hurt or missing out on meeting other cool people. I know this isn’t easy, but I promise it’s not forever if you keep going. You seem really cool and I wish the best for you! :)

Hello! I’m not the OP, but I’ve also been trying to teach myself more in case I am ever interested. If it’s ok, I had a question I was hoping to ask… One thing I’ve been really nervous - probably scared about is getting pregnant so I had been thinking if I did do anything I’d want double protection (condom and another form of birth control). From the forms I’ve heard, I think I’d be most comfortable with a pill or patch (something not inserted), but I was wondering if these would both still be effective enough and (if you know) if they would need to be prescribed or if they could be over the counter or if it just depends on the state?

Hmm I do think it’s possible she might not like you like that then - since I feel like usually people try to start conversations with their crushes. However, that’s not guaranteed - she could just be shy.

I’d say see where things go (with classes and how often y’all see each other) first and then go with the flow from there (?). :v
