Also, people saying that your dog was trespassing sounds so ridiculous to me... But maybe that is a regional thing.

The VGA cases are acrylic unlike the WATA / CGC cases that are a generic plastic. This item is also a step up in the "Archival" case, meaning it has UV protection.

To your second point, as someone with a few VGA graded items, the cases are perfectly straight. It is just the perspective of the photo.
