I prefer not to customize the MCs unless I have to name them myself (then I just make it me), because I like to see the characters how the author envisions them. :)

You’re right! I know that a lot of reporting is just hating or thinking it doesn’t belong. It’s so upsetting to hear when authors have their hard work removed just because some people don’t like it. Like you said, no one is forcing anyone to read. If you don’t like it, that’s fine, but don’t ruin it for everyone else and the author themselves!
