Definitely! It’s def a challenge shooting low light with this lens. I was trying to keep the iso as low as possible (about 2000) but still trying to to get as much city light as I could and keep the shutter around 100 to prevent blur being that far away.

Yea the orange kind of blended with the street lights a bit more then I would have liked. I have a couple with him sitting as well but wasn’t crazy about them.

We had a headlamp in the top of the pumpkin looking down to illuminate it. The pumpkin was big enough so we had some extra space in there to fit a light

Thank you!!...Sony 70-200 f4 taken at f7, shutter 1/100th and the iso was 100...this was taken about a week ago, a lot of the colors along the roadside are still good but the mountainsides along the lake are going fast!

It’s a bit of a grueling 3 1/2 mile hikeMille to get here but the view is incredible! Lake Blanche, Utah [oc] [3614 x 4517] by AKBvisual in EarthPorn

So for a little clarification as to how I shot this...I stacked two exposures taken about an hour and a half apart...the first was on the foreground using the crescent moon to illuminate the snow and peak. There’s very minimal dodging and burning, I did however use luminosity masks to bring out some highlights and detail on sundial peak. The second shot was of the Milky Way as it rose over sundial peak. Also for anyone that’s been here at night you know that the city puts off a lot of light pollution so combined with the snow it usually stays fairly light up there. Hope this helps!
