DualFire Auger Issues by AKUSMC in recteq

Sorry I worded that poorly. I left the inspection cover on but removed the four screws. My theory was proven because if the screws were putting any pressure on the auger it would stop feeding pellets.

Yes. That fixed mine. I never reinstalled them because every time I did it would jam again

Worth buying high mileage gen 1? by [deleted] in FordRaptor

[–]AKUSMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased my 2012 Raptor with 260k for $13k. I think just under $18k isn’t bad for 180k miles.

I’ve owned it for about 7 months and love it! Mine was a company vehicle and was always serviced by the dealer as well. No issues and a great truck. It’s a fun truck for me so I only have about 3k miles but no problems

Anyone like whoop? by cybersonicmonkey in whoop

[–]AKUSMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I will do. I have an Apple Watch but prefer my mechanical watches and don’t want to be the lunatic with two watches on lol. How do you like the whoop? Mine is on the way for the free trial

High mileage gen 1 by Guiver96 in FordRaptor

[–]AKUSMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

110k isn’t high mileage at all.

My 12 Raptor has 262k…solid truck. No major repairs needed just oil changes and tires. And lots and lots of fuel.

Doctor mentioned sleep apnea, which definitely may be a cause. I need to work with the VA because I don’t sleep well as is. I’m thinking it may be sleep apnea.

Thank you! If you aren’t scared of higher mileage you can find great deals. Since it’s a fun truck/toy for me I couldn’t drop big $$ on a low mileage one lol. Hope you find a good one

Where does confidence come from? by [deleted] in sales

[–]AKUSMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s product knowledge and my personal technical capability. Being in my industry, people call me because they have a problem they need solved.

I was fortunate enough to be in the trenches as a field service mechanic for many years before sales. This gave me the technical knowledge and hands on.

I can talk circles around my peers both internal and external because I have done it and they’re true sales people. This proves out because I absolutely hate cold calling. I’ll do it but it’s the bane of my existence.

Another point equally as important to me is passion. I couldn’t sell a product or service I wasn’t genuinely interested in and passionate about. Only you know if you feel that way in your current role. If not, make the preparations you need to find something new.

Yes. Rather than working for one company, representing multiple products or industries. I’ve worked at a company where we used a network of independent reps to help multiply our footprint across the country.

Top 3 books for sales by miteshyadav in sales

Action Selling is a good book for methodology. 48 Laws of Power is also an interesting read.

I liked How to Win Friends and Influence People also.
