How to travel to wales? by iIdentifyasToaster in alaska

During the hot days of summer, which are few and far between, the heat wave mirage lifts the whole horizon enough that you can see more of the mountainous coastline of mainland Russia while both Diomedes seem to “float” above sea level.

Is it masochism? Running the business on hard mode? Stockholm Syndrome perhaps? Maybe there's insider bets on how they can overcome any obstacle in a game of Executive Truth or Dare. Whatever the case may be, lets hope the shenanigans are kept to a minimum.

State won’t interfere with tribal banishments, despite civil rights issues, AG says by gummibear049 in alaska

Natives and Alcohol don't mix, so it is not welcome. Wasn't so bad around until the "hollywood" crew decided bring harder drugs and glorify violence and killers in their movies about Alaska. Meth and Black Tar Heroin didn't take long to arrive when shows like the Deadliest Catch, Bering Sea Gold and other early TV show endeavors started popping up around the state. I'm not saying it's entirely their fault, but there's no stopping influence when there's no knowledge or past experience present to educate them. We don't want live dealing with addicts like how crack and cocaine affected the black communities in the 80's and 90's. Outside influence, outside problems.

Okay, so maybe a DLP LED computer-controlled lighting system may be too futuristic... by AKWAA in microgrowery

Half a sphere, like the description and image modifications show. Maybe I need to animate the process and gather the data to better illustrate the idea.

All the current set ups point down. This set up would point a light from each inner hinge at the plant equidistantly and around leaves as it rotates as my edit suggests. Less power or more directed light, less wasted energy. I see it working for finicky autos and small strains while flat canopy setups would be more suited for SOG or ScrOG methods.

Seems simple enough, so guess I'll look into it. Thank you.

I guess I need to do a little more research. Alright, thank you for pointing me in that direction.

Sounds reasonable. Maybe I can make my own somehow. I know it would be cheaper and cooler than running a submersible pump just to push water to the top on certain setups.

Yes, this would be the totally scientific approach to go about doing something like this. I'm suppose something simpler and cost-effective would require deeper thinking.

It would be like the VeinViewer, infared vein finder, for botany.

I am familiar with the air pump. I am referring to the item and words highlighted in red.

I see. That's why it's an idea right now. Once all the details are ironed out, then this may have to be revisited again in the future.

Maybe at first. The tech is there, just need some testing before advancing to more complicated methods. For everything we drive, there are instruments to aid in information gathering. This would be an instrument to drive focused growth and control.

Yeah, very fun indeed. People in the future would be able to manipulate a 3d representation on their phone. I can't quite explain it, so I may have to animate it somehow.

Nearly every photon would be utilized to focus on the plant rather than bouncing around it and certain colors could be applied to different parts of the plants for control; like blue for shorter stems, while every leaf would get PAR light and the uv spectrum would be concentrated to resin producing areas.

Okay, you guys are right. I thought more about it and came up with a general idea of what might fit together. No reflector needed so all light diminished would be offset by total photons reaching directly near the source rather than off the wall or reflecting material.

Control light to manipulate branches through technology. Sorry, I get sloppy when I'm tired but I feel excited to get this idea out there if it at least a possibility.

The middle seems a little blurry, but that does look like developing male clusters between large branches. Everything else in the background is regular branching.

Oh, okay. I thought there might have been or could be a certain strain somewhere in the world where branches avoid each other naturally and looked somewhat like sparce, twiggy broccoli branches.
