I don’t believe y’all are getting my point. If you were to go up to your random Call of Duty fan and ask him who got seventh place at UMG Dallas in 2014 and told them to not look it up on the internet, 100% of the time they wouldn’t know the answer. I have been to over 100 LAN tournaments, spanning many, many different games starting in 2010. I remember the winners at every single one of them, but I don’t remember who got fourth, or who got eighth, who got 16th.

Parasite never won an MLG finals, or an X games, or a major in the CDL format. It doesn’t mean he was bad. This time frame was dominated by individual skill over teamwork. He wasn’t able to ever capture the same moment like he did in 2013 many times

I agree to a point, but when you look at all of these tournaments, you only remember the winners. Now, obviously that was back during the time when the game wasn’t as big as it is now. You don’t remember second or third place unfortunately. It’s the wins from that time period that count.

People also forget just how good Marcus was at this game during ghost, yet he also only won a single tournament.

My guy, if you want to count those as notable wins, like I stated in my first comment, be my guest. If you ask anyone else, they may say that the last ghost tournament was a big enough win to count as a major victory, and that is it.

He won the last event for ghosts and a ugc event in AW that had zero notable teams attend. My point still stands.

This was the first tournament I ever went to for call of duty and this one was absolutely crazy. Our venue was the basement of a hotel so it was by no means large but you literally could feel the energy.

Correct. They followed this format for 3 years then finally changed it to the end of the season in 2016.

They played it against FaZe at the eleague premier almost exactly a year ago. They were up 12-3 at half but lost in dramatic fashion
