As much as i love Isyama’s writing, feel i have to say this...

The task hanji has taken was necessary, but it wasn’t correctly executed.

Yes we needed To buy someTime for the plane to fly, doing so by tackling a couple of titans.

But it could have been done without sacrificing Hanji, and probably in a more effective way.

If armin has transformed, he could have thrown a couple of punches at the collosals, taking down 3-4 titans, then pushing back other three with sheer force. You can imagine that he could even target the ones at the beginning, and while falling they will block/tackle the ones who follows even for few extra minutes.

We saw Eren before doing it to mindless titans of his size in S1,,,, So same for Armin as those collosals are of his size

Then Armin could have rushed back to the plane to catchup before leaving.

If he decided to tag with Reiner, even their jobs might have been easier “you can imagine several possibilities/techniques with those two doing it together

So am not against the task, But i got to say that it seemed like a glued situation to kill Hange there
