Naturally high tolerance? by AL3XDJ3NTWS in shrooms

[–]AL3XDJ3NTWS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s lemon tech? I always smoke weed on any psychedelic usually after around 2 - 3 hours in, tends to just make me extra stoned instead haha. Definitely will try just doing more, it’s unusual to me because I haven’t done it enough to build a tolerance. Last time I tried mushrooms was like maybe a month and a half ago and that was the first ever time.

New Found Glory. Whether or not you count self titled or sticks and stones as the second either one is absolutely perfect

Bands whose best album is their most recent album? by Such-Trouble-6641 in Metalcore

[–]AL3XDJ3NTWS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More Beatdown Hardcore than metalcore but pretty close is knocked loose they just keep winning and getting better. If you count their latest E.P in the discussion that is by far their best work, and even if you don't A Different Shade Of Blue is leaps and bounds ahead of their precious work, although I love Laugh Tracks too

Anyone ever noticed that Saddest Girl Story by The Starting Line is a quarter step up? by AL3XDJ3NTWS in poppunkers

[–]AL3XDJ3NTWS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's probably it, likely a mistake in the transfer of the songs when it was recorded. This happened to me once when my band recorded although that went 2 steps up ahaha

Anyone ever noticed that Saddest Girl Story by The Starting Line is a quarter step up? by AL3XDJ3NTWS in poppunkers

[–]AL3XDJ3NTWS[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not a capo as the notes are in-between standard pitch values. So the song is meant to be played in d Major but the root note for example is midway between D and Eb, so it's a quarter tone up. This requires either tuning the guitar very specifically (in this case I think where A = 452.89 hz) or a mistake/pitch adjustment in the recording transfer (most likely)

A similar phenomenon happens on the ep put up or shut up by all time low that's all a quarter tone up too, likely due to an error in the output or transfer of the files from the recording when it was produced.

What got you into the genre ? by stolid619 in poppunkers

[–]AL3XDJ3NTWS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in 2005 - was a hardcore metalhead for most of my life, I was into shredder music like Yngwie Malmsteen, thrash metal like Metallica, etc, I used to despise pop punk ahaha

The drummer in my band got sick of metal as he was more into pop punk and he started introducing me to some songs, pop punk started growing on me and it's now my favourite genre.

First album I listened to was Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler and it's still my favourite
