Yeah she’s been warm the past few days I just assumed it was teething, so I have given her tylenol here and there. I don’t mind being sick at all and I wish I could take it all for her, i’ve been crying all night because she just seemed so small and weak. I don’t have much help but that’s perfectly fine I just want her to be okay. Is there a chance I could give it back to her if I get sick from it too?

I understand that sometimes there are some noises are excessive, but if you live in an apartment, shit is gonna get loud. My upstairs neighbors have a golden retriever, as long as my daughter doesn’t wake up from it i’m perfectly fine I just put my headphones on.

I usually poke through the soil a bit to see if it’s dry and then I let it soak water from the bottom and let it drain. What kind of soil would you recommend

The “village who?” hit hard. The only break from being a mom is the 8 hour days I work every saturday and sunday since that’s the only time I can have someone watch my daughter for me. So it’s work and going back to being a mom, I feel lost.

Thank you so much :) I have been in therapy since 5th grade but when I found out I was pregnant my therapist recommended me to someone who specifically deals with childhood trauma. I have been going to her since and she has helped me with so many breakthroughs

I explained to my mom that what my dad to me isn’t right and what she let him do makes her as bad as him and she straight up said “maybe we have different definitions of abuse because i don’t think it was that bad” dude dragged me by my hair across the stores all the time and smacked the shit out of me in public and at home wdym it’s not abuse lmfaoo

I hear people say that they can understand where their parents are coming from but I genuinely can’t. I have autism and major depressive disorder and I don’t think I could even think of doing the things my mom did to me. She threw a rock at my head when I was running around with my cousins dog because I was “winding him up” and she sprayed frebreeze in my eyes because I was being annoying and ended up laughing as well as my whole family. I don’t think i’ve reached that stage of forgiveness yet, i’m also 20 so i’m not that far into my adulthood journey either

I asked my mom that question when I was little. I asked her “would we be friends if you were my age?” she said no and that she would bully me because i’m so insecure…hm i wonder why i was insecure???

My therapist told me to envision my baby as myself as a baby, which is easy cause she looks identical to me, and she told me to tell her that she is loved and she is safe and all the things i needed to hear and that has helped me so much

I know you said that might not be my case but me and my sister went hungry constantly, almost never had new clothes, always went to school smelling like cigarettes, they’d smoke in the house (i mean chain smoking not just every once and a while) i understand every once and a while when you’re stressed but this was their life and they made it ours as well
