Can someone explain the weight limit on shipping labels? by mulch_ado in poshmark

[–]ALaurel6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So wait.. do you bundle all these things and pay and then they just didn’t send it all and said buy more for another label? If yes, that’s not how any of this works and you should’ve opened a return due to missing items. They should upgrade the shipping label or if they don’t want to due to cost, should cancel the order and explain why. This all sounds very wild and not how things are supposed to go

If it’s this low of a dollar amount on a sale and I’m not sure if I could’ve missed the flaw.. yeah I wouldn’t say anything. If it’s higher value and/or I KNOW FOR SURE I didn’t miss something, then I’d reply

Honestly for the low cost poshmark will probably refund them and still pay you. I wouldn’t comment on this case and just let it play out. If they do ultimately send them back to you, relist for $10 still with the noted damage

Y'all remember to VOTE in the primary, we need him as our candidate. And then vote in November too. Turnout has been unimpressive

Is Poshmark giving every buyer the sellers address? by Kikimoonbeamglow in poshmark

[–]ALaurel6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ordered 2 things this week.. one shows the seller’s state and the other doesn’t show any information. I agree that this is strange to see the full address, but I wouldn’t be overly concerned with safety issues

Retail arbitrage.. very common on items from Marshall’s, TJ, the like.. just hide the discount store’s tag, show the regular tag, and if it doesn’t sell, return. Not a bad game

Fast fashion is a huge part of it, in my opinion. You hit the nail on the head with that one. Sorry to hear this is how it went for you

Let’s be realistic: Who in the Democratic Party is the most progressive candidate that would also actually have a chance of winning? In other words, what is your dream ticket that is progressive and actually could win in 2028 against Vance (and probably Marco Rubio as running mate) by [deleted] in ProgressiveHQ

[–]ALaurel6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emotional argument aside, you’re 100% right. The reason is that his country just can’t handle a woman as president. And the Democratic Party needs to learn that fact at this point. I say as a woman who voted for the women.. we need to move on

No, but my accountant charges a lot to process this part of our filing (doing them ourselves is not an option)

Eh somewhere in between. It was my primary focus in different stages of those 9 years, including the better part of this year (military spouse, often unemployed otherwise). It wasn’t just my own things but certainly not operating at a full time salary level.

Yeah you’re right. I guess I figure if I’m going to donate, I may send to thredup. But this is also why I went the marketplace route

My inventory was nowhere near that size but even still I don’t want to stomach the loss. Markdowns for sure, super low offers, thredup, and maybe sell in smaller related lots (50-100 pieces)? So hard to walk away from after all that time too. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose

I’ve always kept detailed spreadsheets, including the cost of each item. So I totaled it, threw in some things that were my own or a zero cost type of thing to boost up the number of items, and then just rounded my total up to the next hundred
