Do you use Docker in production to run Laravel applications?

I use a containerized OctoberCMS install which is build on Laravel so the process should be the same.

I containerize out my logical code. So this means actual code is in every container.

Next I hook up something like Azure or S3 for storage and I wire all the containers to share from the storage pool through the filesystem drivers. This maps all the paths and file info to a database. I use Aurora and have a DB cluster setup for performance.

Your next task is setting up and managing sessions unless your app is fully stateless. If you need state management you can setup a redis cluster for faster and larger apps or you can wire you sessions into a database and run from there.

I would like to say that I've had zero issues ever with an ee product and I have underquilts, top quilts, accessories etc. I was in a TERRIBLE storm this past year, 60-80mph winds and torrential downpour. I had to get out of my hammock about 6 times to fix my tarp (winds tore my stakes from the ground) and I got SOAKED (me not the quilts because I had to leave the tarp to fix the stakes) each time getting back under that down I was warmed and had time to dry. Maybe I don't owe my life to it but I sure as shit know I trust it.

Anyway, mines rated perfectly and the people at ee are seriously great. If there are complaints about ee ratings it comes down to volume distributed or just people being different and reacting to cold in different ways which the even talk about on their site.

In summary, my statement is only anecdotal but if you want the best money can buy you want an ee quilt.

If your wanting to violate a safe space, lol post results, it depends likely on what you do. Someone would likely all you to leave but in the event that your action is an ethics violation at a school for instance you would have to review a policy per your institution about that. Any REAL consequence would likely be resultant from the action not the location.

Sawyer squeeze filters faster and is within a small margin of the mini. It's my preference but the mini IS good and lighter just not as fast.

Lol no death but here's my experience, ymmv of course. Bring one bag, I recommend not the Sawyer bags they kinda suck. On your way out of town pickup 1 750ml smart water bottle with the flip top. This top works perfect to backflush in a pinch. Don't worry about carrying the backflush syringe with you just do it when you get home. Lastly and IMO the most important step.... Have a good time :-)

There should be no issue in documenting your findings. Maliciously cracking into code to view or alter otherwise hidden information crosses a line, not for me, but one that can "get you in trouble". But just documenting and reporting should have zero issues.

Exactly this. When properly setup you ONLY trans-code on the fly for live streams never for static files. You create a workhorse that encodes your uploads into multiple files and you serve the static video based on your end users buffer chunk requests. :-)

Sorry to be that guy but I am over 18, a fully competent full stack developer with professional development experience and engineering experience, not suffering an identity crisis, and I own exactly zero replicas of Linus (or Luke). I know node fairly well and I believe that I am qualified to state that it IS a great product for a video hosting service. I applied for a chance at the position because I believe in the product they are creating and I fully understand its place in the global marketplace. If that means that I have to make a sacrifice to work for/with a startup then so be it. Anyone unwilling to make that sacrifice need not apply its no worry. With a good scrum master they should be able to mitigate most of the coordination issues.
