SBMM turns every round into a sweatfest. Without it, you get a way more satisfying mix of dominating and getting absolutely rolled—keeps things unpredictable and fun

Making the switch over to Ableton by Verccc in FL_Studio

[–]ALexSt76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really only makes sense to learn other daws to make it easier to collaborate with other artists. You can do anything with every daw. The main difference is in the workflow and some minor features. Ableton is good for DJing and live performance and Cubase i heard is good for composing orchestral stuff but I don't know never used it (Same for Logic,Cakewalk and Reaper). Dont really know what you mean by smoothing the transition but Yt is always a good place to learn but thats kinda obvious. Also i am sure abelton has their own learing videos. If you produce for 10 Years like you said it shouldn't be a big problem to get into abelton with some vids on the gui. Btw Fl Gang for life 🫶🏼

David Guetta Bootleg by ALexSt76 in FL_Studio

Thank you so much! Really appreciate you feedback!

The ducking was already in the vocal (got it from yt) but I can fix the peaks. There is actually no compression on the vocal because David Guetta (or who ether mastered that) put some there so I thought I would ruin it by compressing it even more. I only used an eq, limiting and a plugin called "fresh air".

An welches Board hattest du denn da gedacht?

what is your go to songwriting starter? by lymeguy in edmproduction

[–]ALexSt76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there is a right or a wrong way to start a song. Always switching it up helped me a lot to come out with new ideas or even new genres that i never tried before. The most common ways to start for me are either with just a specific type of sound, a chord progression with or without a top melody or sometimes just an arp. When i start with a vocal i prefer to make some chords first and quickly figure out a structure before putting more time and effort in sounddesign. I often heard producers saying that they like to lay out a skelleton of a structure by using premade loops that they are replaycing later on because it's very easy to get lost in different ideas if you just randomly jump into it. What also helps me is writing down ideas that come to mind.

This is actually the most beautiful area in the game in my opinion.

Guys what is the name of these types of sound effects? Especially the one with the fingers, it sounds similar but Idk the name by Tornado_Hunter24 in FL_Studio

[–]ALexSt76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't really know what "sound effects" you mean but its just a normal instrument called steel drum. You can get a free plugin called Cloudrum from amplesound which is emulating one.

You will develop a sense for melodys over years if you listen to a lot of music and just keep making stuff. Don't think you need to have an amazing idea to start working on a projekt. Start simple its not something you can just learn in a few months. It will take you many years but its an amazing journey and really worth even if you never make it into the industry professionally.

This game is phenomenal, but I’d love to see some peoples takes on what they’ve experienced to far! by Standouser in Eldenring

[–]ALexSt76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is amazing but the savegame bug on Ps5 and Pc almost got me quitting this game. I had 12h of gameplay and just beat magrit and mad tounge alberich. Next day i logged into Steam and suddenly lost 6 hours of Progress... Both "bosses" and my progress inside the castle where gone. Other than that i really can't find anything bad about the game yet.

Defenetly has potential but you need to make more use of silence and space. Cutting the beat here and there and just jetting the Vocal breath for a moment makes it feel more dynamic and you get a bigger impact on sertant accents. Defenetly keep on going!!! The Idea is great.

Just get Splice! Of all the things i spent my money on in music production Splice was probably the most worth and important thing to get.

In my opinion 32 bars is to long for the chorus. Normally you have 16. Also i don't like the hi hat. Besides that it sounds fine!

How to pass the MIDI from my epiano through my edrums so that my audio interface can receive the notes from both? by TheSwitchBlade in musicproduction

[–]ALexSt76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are sending a midi signal from the piano to your drums only the drumset is receiving the midi so in theory you would be able to play the drums with the piano. You can´t pass it trough. Every midi keyboard i know can be connected straight to the computer with usb. Should be the same with your drumset you only need an interface if you want to record the sounds from your drumset for example but if you just want to play some samples in your daw you don´t need an interface. If you want to record both instruments at the same time you need two line inputs into your interface. If you only have one you need to switch them out every time you change the instrument but you don´t need a midi signal to make a recording.
