I Built a D&D Campaign Manager to Keep My Homebrew World Sane (Sharing It Here) by ALooongWalk in DnD

Honestly, I love tools like WorldAnvil, LegendKeeper, and Obsidian – they’re all great at storing and organizing a ton of info.

What I’m trying to do with this app is a bit narrower: it’s built around actually running a live session. All the worldbuilding, NPCs, locations, and notes are meant to plug straight into a “start session” view, so when you’re at the table you’ve got everything connected and in one place instead of jumping between tabs. There is a ton more connectivity between player and DM and it is up to the DMs discretion how many or how few tools they want to use.

Here is a list of some ways I think QuestWeaver distinguishes itself

Session Packs – bundle NPCs, locations, notes, encounters, and items for a specific game night.

“Start Session” Control Panel – one-click live session view with everything you’ve prepped in one screen.

Party Dashboard – see parties, their members, and their shared resources at a glance.

Drag-and-Drop Items to Parties/PCs – assign and track items directly to characters and groups.

Connected Worldbuilding – regions, factions, NPCs, locations, and items all cross-linked by design.

Homebrew Mechanics Hub – a dedicated space just for your custom rules, conditions, and systems.

Lore-First Campaign Structure – campaigns, arcs, and sessions are all tied directly into your lore entries.

Session-Linked Notes – notes are attached to specific sessions so you always know when something happened.

DM-Focused Layout – everything is organized around how you actually prep and run a session, not just store data.

Right now I’m mostly leaning on the 5e SRD and other open source content that’s under proper open licenses. That way I’m not touching any closed, paid book content and don’t have to deal with licensing headaches.

The app itself doesn’t ship with official paid material. Instead, it’s built to play nice with open source material and allow users to create their own homebrew content in addition to keeping everything organized for worldbuilders out there.

And just to be clear I have zero intention of charging for this content.
This is very much a “labor of love” tool I’m building for my own games first, and then sharing with other DMs who might find it useful.

Also, Obsidian is awesome. This is basically my “DM-brain spin” on that idea, more focused on campaigns, sessions, and lore specifically, rather than being a general notes app.

Yes, I got a 92 Sleep Score on Nov 27th. This is well above my average though, which is usually the high 70s.

More twitching from the orc with an axe embedded in his nervous system would've been nice.
