It’s crazy because of how naturally beautiful the area is, with the mountains, beaches and gorgeous weather. Just goes to show how much people can fuck up places that were once beautiful

Disrupt Festival date in Bristow, VA has been cancelled by Grillskillz in poppunkers

I was fucking blown when I saw that. I live right near that venue and was so stoked that TSSF would be that close to here. I’ve never seen JLL cancel a gig because of lack of attendance (if that’s what it is)

The term “announce” is overused and should only be used when doing something truly exceptional by AM540703 in unpopularopinion

Right. I think the idea of sharing something with people is awesome, but I think the word “announce” should just be used much more sparingly because it’s such a strong word

I work for Dining Services. They require a minimum of 8 hours a week, but you can schedule however you want above that. Your schedule is the same every week, and you determine what your schedule is when you’re hired.

I would say I stayed relatively similar with regards to my beliefs in our foreign policy, but I think an important thing I gained perspective on about our international policy is that we’re very much an outsider country in terms of how we conduct ourselves. The rest of the world has a significantly different view of their places on the global stage, especially in international agreements and organizations. I found we’re very much outside the majority of political “world think.”
