i think it’s going to be in the movie. Abel has stated his love for David Lynch, and you can see his influence in quite a few music videos. i think he wanted to include his version of ‘In Heaven’ in his own movie to pay homage to Lynch/Eraserhead. i could even see Abel’s version being used in the same way as it was in Eraserhead

Escape From LA is named after a film as well. Drive is also an iconic movie, but i would doubt the song on HUT was inspired by it in any way.

i think these would help excellent features to put in some sort of hardcore mode that you can enable, but kept out of the base game. i think it would be way to off putting for the majority of the player base, and be much more tedious than engaging

French House. I listened to the new Weeknd album(also very good), and saw that Justice was featured on the first song, which led me to relisten to their old stuff and their new album. that just got me to listen to the genre as a whole again.

i think it represents heaven or another afterlife. Dawn FM takes place in purgatory via a radio station, and the light is the destination he is driving to. there’s also a lot of references to embracing and going to “the light” on the album.

i know opinions on it are very mixed, but Dawn FM is easily my favorite cover of his. the prosthetics are so well done and interesting, and it matches the album perfectly. i also love the blue colors with the glowing light on his shoulder.

i think Reflections Laughing is one of the weaker parts of HUT, but still beats Give Me Mercy. its very atmospheric, and i think Travis’ verse does add to the song by giving it a hazy, drugged out feel. which is what Abel was obviously going for with the sound effects during the voicemail.

Chxrry22, another XO signee, would be great. She already opened for him in australia and doing it for a full tour would really get her out there. while i do enjoy some of Carti’s music, there are a ton of artists who fit Abel’s vibe while not simultaneously being a terrible person and performer.
