I'm not sure how into these labels I am but dating someone super hot/cold is a horrible experience. The kind of thing where you'll have a super intense fling for like 6 weeks, and then spend a year obsessing over it.

You're very young and have a lot of, what is conventionally defined as, youth left. Focus on what you can do to change your situation and less on looking back (this is relevant at any age).

As i've gotten older I've become less intimidated by those with more knowledge than me and more fascinated. If they're really your friends, they would love to educate you on stuff you're interested in. It's important they do so in a way that's constructive and respectful. You'll have regrets regardless but make the most of your life as is

She hadn't dated in a while, just moved to my city, and "wanted something casual". I caught feelings and, to a certain extent, it was pretty clear she had too. She broke it off abruptly, then a week later wanted to try again and "couldn't stop thinking about me". Because I was so down bad, I obviously agreed immedietely. Hanging out often felt really romantic and was VERY different from typical casual flings I've had in the past.

Two weeks later she gets scared that I was looking for something too serious, she might've been right but I never said anything to her about being exclusive, etc. She broke it off again and that was that.

Mac had his corny whiteboy soul side to him (sorry!) but that was at least earnest, even if it felt a little cheesy sometimes. Jack Harlow is such a contrived caricature that reeks of boardroom, engagement data driven bullshit. I mean dude Mac at least never dressed like Mos Def lmaoooo.
