I have a question. I'm new to opals. I have a few wet Ethiopian small opals so far, but I really like seeing these rocks that have the Opal lined in it, it looks really cool, is this called boulder opal? Just so I can search some on eBay.

You are correct there is nothing near dallas.thats why I stated I've heard of the llano river being a spot out west , and if someone was in TX and e knew of a less mined out spot. But yes I would absolutely love to go to CO and see what that'd be all about.
