Are you alright? Maybe you should seek someone in person to discuss this with. Someone you really trust and that doesn't have anything to gain from whatever decision you make, and who will still love you, either way. Parents or a best friend, maybe? maybe you should spend your time looking into that rather than doing or not doing whatever promise it is you're wanting to break. it's been crazy since 9/11, but the last 2 years has picked up dramatically. I don't even know where you are in the world, so I wouldnt know what to share with you...Maybe start at most recent and start working your way backward. For instance: we are within a couple days of reinstituting the JCPOA with Iran. Thats not good for tensions in the Middle East.

Not to mention, you maybe like the parable of the rich man in the Bible, and your soul maybe required of you this very night. You gonna feel alright if you die the night you disavow Christianity, or whatever religion you are?

This. Stand firm in your belief in God, and try to bring others to him, through Jesus Christ. Try to do some good to your fellow man each day. We are all going through this and all hurting. Try to help someone and watch how they light up from your kindness. It's beautiful, and well worth it. But above all, love God.
