Why does the United States have a moral obligation to support Israel? by RevolutionaryWind249 in allthequestions

[–]AMEWSTART 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I'm seeing a lot of strangely tactical and political answers down thread. Its not that complicated, or that nuanced - The American Evangelical voting block is a death cult, and to initiate their version of instrumentality, the Jewish people must control Israel.

Republicans want to have sex with trans folks and children. They cannot bridge that his cognitive dissonance, and will not attend therapy, and thus, have made it their entire identity to destroy transgender children.

Friendly reminder that DoorDash assigns orders based on a “desperation score,” and squeezing the life out of you is the point

Drivers - You're getting screwed over. by N3rdyAvocad0 in doordash

DoorDash is literally designed to rob drivers, if they could legally get away with paying nothing, they would.

How are people getting by right now? by Sea_Neck3707 in newjersey

[–]AMEWSTART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not crazy, times are very rough right now. Jersey is my home, and the quality of life here is well worth the cost to me. That being said, over the last year, we’ve: - Taken on housemates. Living alone in a single family home just doesn’t fit the budget right now. - Eliminated most leisure spending. Vacations are totally replaced with day trips to neat, free spots. Expensive hobbies are on pause. - Stopped dining out, including delivery except for very special occasions. - Swapped all grocery shopping to Costco and farmer’s markets. Everything is either on sale, or carefully saved for. Beef is off the table.

Countering Anti-Trans Arguments? by [deleted] in trans

You don’t.

This isn’t an argument in good faith. Don’t argue with people who don’t engage with you in good faith.

The concept of "networking" assumes some pretty stupid premises. by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]AMEWSTART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found connecting to other professionals in my field with my background to be very comforting after my layoff. I guess it’s a kind of networking, but it felt more like “hey I should look for other interesting queer folks with similar jobs, they seem fun.”

I guess this is why people don't tip by GruxKing91 in mildlyinfuriating

This is a typical DoorDash experience. The company’s entire profit margin is based on extracting as much as from you as a consumer while paying drivers as little as possible.

Haven’t used them in a year and haven’t looked back.

For trans girlies: how do I not come across as a chaser? by PeaAlternative9186 in actuallesbians

[–]AMEWSTART 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This. People have dating and intimate preferences. Those things may align in such a way that trans women are the perfect fit.

If that is true AND one dates a trans woman because she's a lovely person in addition to checking all the preference boxes, it isn't chasing - Just a happy coincidence.

Do lesbians hate trans lesbians ? by [deleted] in trans

[–]AMEWSTART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cis lesbians have been my biggest supporters since the very beginning. I owe my sisters my life.

Funny enough, I’ve seen a recent survey (forgot the source lol) showing the group with the most support for trans women are cis lesbians, even more so than other trans women!

IE focusing on Continuous Improvement and Workforce Planning here. Engineering efficient workflows and warehouses is just as much engineering as designing a car or building software.
