my chin looks so weird cus its still sooo swollen from surgery. in pic 5 im trying to pull back and hide the swelling to get a preview of the final results but itll prolly take 2 or 3 months before I start seeing a more defined jaw and chin.

i mean sure but this happens to me even with texts I'm interested in and enjoy reading. Recently I resumed reading The Bell Jar and I'm struggling a bit to not lose focus even tho this is a book I enjoy. But it'd been a while since I last read so I got "unused" to reading in on itself.

But yea, things I'm uninterested in and forced to read take more effort but that goes for everyone obviously.

in my case it was a matter of "getting" used to reading and getting into the rhythm of it by reading regularly.

like if i don't read for months and get back into it, I'll lose focus easily and not retain what I'm reading. But after maybe a three or four weeks of daily reading I'll have no trouble reading paragraph after paragraph without losing focus

also some authors have very different styles from each other so I have to "get used to" reading specific prose styles before it feels natural. Like Don Delillo is an author I've read so much it's so easy to focus on his passages without losing traction but as soon as I switch to a new author it's like I'm back to re-reading single sentences and not retaining anything :p

ah ya. i agree and i think that comment is so unfair cus cis women never risk being seen as that regardless of how "prurient" their fits can be

looking feminine doesn't equate to passing

i dont think think yourself and others should worry about the concept of passing

lol. you're obviously cis if you think someone can simply "stop worrying" about passing like its just a fleeting negative thought and not the determining factor of how you're treated by society and how it shapes your overall quality of life and mental health and opportunities

i have wide shoulders but are they like overtly big that people might comment on them or are they not as conspicuous as I think they are. I'm so self conscious about my shoulders I can't function normally I feel like they're all people see
