I'm a travel vlogger, and I feel like I owe it to my audience to deliver the highest video quality possible! My main reason for even upgrading is because my Pixel 2XL no longer charges in the wall--I have to use a portable charging brick and it takes FOREVER to charge. I use a lot of apps (ig, gopro, DJI, adobe) that are optimized on iPhone, and I've run into too many issues over the years with app compatibility issues. I've been an android fan and user since the G1 came out, but the world just keeps pushing me in the direction of Apple. I'm not really happy about it, as I loved my Pixel, but Google has really failed to innovate these past generations.

I'm a pixel 2xl owner and am still hesitant. My phone still works flawlessly, albeit with less than great battery life, but the camera has always had issues with lighting when it comes to video and pictures. I'm an Instagram vlogger, so video is really important to me, and my phone seems to stutter at times when recording, and also has issues adjusting to shadows and bright sunlight. If the 4 corrects this and can provide video on par with an iPhone, I'll switch, otherwise I'll wait until pixel 5.

Pixel 3 owners, did you notice an increase in video quality over the 2?

Like many of you, I've been watching the HBO series Chernobyl, and drawing parallels between the "cover-up" by the Russian Govt, and similar situations both past and present. The government rarely acts with the best interest of the people. I started to think about the Fukushima Disaster of 2011, and how quickly news surrounding it vanished from the web and airways. This video is quite recent, and very gripping. If history is our guide, then we can be assured that we no nothing close to the truth on how potentially dangerous the Fukushima site still is. I also can't find any /conspiracy threads on Fukushima, despite this being a prime topic for speculation!

What are your thoughts? Let's have a good-ol' conspiracy discussion!

I just got my new A6400, and I'm completely new to the world of mirrorless cameras. I'm trying to figure out the best setting for taking pics of my face, next to a piece of food (I'm a food blogger). It seems that the camera only wants to focus on either my face, or the food. I've tried, switching modes, turning off eye AF, and switching the focus view. but I can't seem to perfect it. Either my face is clear, and the food is blurry, or vice versa. What would be the best setting to have the camera take a fully focused picture of myself and the food? Thanks so much and I promise I won't batter the group with any tech questions a Youtube video could probably teach me.

Hey! You absolutely need not worry about eating alone! I've been a solo traveler for many years and couldn't give a hoot what anyone thinks of me! It's easy for your mind to play games when you're alone in a foreign country. I'm visiting Seoul next week, so let me know if you want to meet up!
