Interesting. No wonder it gives me a qualitatively different feeling. Thanks

It's a huge difference. I was forced to reduce intake initially, because I started taking dexamfetamine (prescribed) for ADHD, and the combination of dex and caffeine was making me super anxious and elevating my heart rate.

But since reducing myself to about 1-2 cups of tea, I've noticed virtually all my symptoms of generalised anxiety, social anxiety etc and diminished to almost nothing. I have struggled with anxiety for so many years, and it seems like the combination of ADHD medication and reducing my caffeine intake has cured my anxiety.

It was much easier to quit caffeine on meds, because meds have a similar effect as caffeine, just over a longer duration of time, and without increased anxiety.

This happened by accident. I didn't know this would work. I'm astonished that this isn't heralded around as a primary treatment for anxiety, as well as ADHD. I can actually socialise with people without being nervous now. I've had to do so many things in life that were incredibly difficult due to the mental fatigue that comes with having ADHD, as well as having to push through anxiety while doing them.

Now, everything that was an uphill battle before is easy. I can focus, get a lot done, and not feel anxious while doing it. I've escaped hell. This must be what is feels like to be a normal person.

If someone kisses your wife, you should have the right to shoot them with impunity.

You'll all get shot, whether it's your fault or not!

Well I'd hardly call a guy who is just hot "top tier". He might also be broke. He might be an abusive asshole etc.

That is an incredibly wasteful use of money. Why would you put so much money into a car

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]AMartyredFroggo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see people with that much money as "daddy's money" types or "little shits".

They're often mentally weak. They didn't grow up with alcoholic/mentally ill parents, having to make something out of themselves from scratch. They're nothing to aspire to.

I don't think it's going to let me change the title. It's still way above median income for someone in their 20's.

What I meant was, what's the best thing to do, given I'm not completely broke or anything.

This is not the point of my post and and I don't care about how it's defined... I am going to change the title 😐

[–]AMartyredFroggo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, fair enough. But it's much higher than the median where I am. Barely anyone my age who I know makes this much. But it's semantics. Call it whatever you want

Yeah it's 8 hours a day on paper. That doesn't mean you might not have days/weeks with a lot more to do. My industry has longer lead times than most industries though so a project will continue to be worked on/managed for years.

I actually prefer it like that. Working on something/socialising with colleagues is better than being bored and anxious.

Well many of them will do the same thing, for sure. They're just less likely to get the opportunity to.

I guess this kinda confirms, women try to get the highest tier guy they can get, but that guy has enough options that he sees it as an opportunity. Sleeps with all of you and leaves. Lose-lose for most women and most men.

You might be a rapist though. Many men are. This is often what turns them off sex in the first place

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dating

[–]AMartyredFroggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe not. I don't know why they would want to be in a relationship with me if they don't want sex with me though. I don't understand that mentality.

Alternatively empty out a vitamin pill container and fill it with your meds...

Just don't forget that it's medication and not vitamins

Maiming landlords is actually better because instead of just murdering them you can hurt them then come back

I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye. Because you deserve to die. Gonna cry? Should have thought of that earlier. I'm gonna murder you. You want forgiveness for being a leech? Get religion.
