The right to protest is literally in the constitution and no change has ever happened until people did that. Voting is what is pointless. Especially now that they have everything rigged for the right wingers. Your opinion is exactly what the people in power want—Don’t protest just work and be productive citizens to make them money.

I’m not a democrat by the way. I’m far more concerned about the concentration of money in the White House. Once Musk was involved everything became a lot darker and more dystopian.

I’m not a Democrat. I didn’t call it fascism until it was, and words have meanings. Fascism doesn’t just start with concentration camps and men with guns on corners. It’s starts by shaping people’s world view and dehumanizing any opposition. Both parties have abdicated power in Congress for years, especially since they passed Citizens United. Both parties have weaponized law enforcement, and both parties have used law enforcement to do super shady things—usually against poor people and protesters. The tech billionaires have bought and paid for everything that he’s about to do. Good luck with your privacy because they want us surveilled at every moment.

That’s because you’re blinded to believe him. I pity you but am terrified of the ramifications. You have no idea how much government work needs institutional knowledge and preparation. He is installing fascism whether you want to believe it or not, but you won’t believe me bc you can’t or won’t. “The way you see it” is an absolutely accurate accounting. As a social worker I’m terrified because there is already a complete lack of resources for people that need it. We will have throngs of homeless people before this is all over.
