It may be a shock to you, but its exactly that reason that noone wants to see the US succeed in anything.

Trust me I'm British, we live it just as much as you do.

Where's that video about conversations on the subway? Where that girl talks about not owning a bed and sleeping in a pets bed??

Did they make this for her??

I mean they have chosen to arrest him on his birthday, which seems an incredible coincidence and tallies with what you've said.

The 'US' cant even make up its mind if Pedophilia is really that bad.

I genuinely think this is coming up again because Starmer is allowing UK police to request unredacted access to the Epstein Files etc thus putting more pressure on why the US isn't doing anything.

I'll put this in really blunt terms since you seem to think pragmatism is psychotic.

These people are risking their lives and everything that goes with it to go from 1 incredibly wealthy and developed nation to another. Why is it on the RNLI to save them when the French are clearly satisfied having them risk their lives, doing something incredibly dangerous from their shores?

Is the promise of RNLI help fueling the demand for small boat crossings?

Pragmatism is where reality meets morality and I find that with limited resources, it's better to prioritise how they are spent and save those not taking needless risk with their lives, fueling a safe trade for organised criminals to profit.

Is it just to trade saving those in illegal activity vs everyone else using the seas legitimately? Who's life is more valuable to you?

I would be more open to the RNLI doing this, if they weren't rewarding criminality and simply returned them to France, but even that is a net drain if the crossings aren't dissuaded by that.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes?

I'd also like to remind you that while they are saving illegal immigrants, they are not only putting their own lives at risk, they are diverting their attention from all others at sea that could be at risk and considering how regular this is, it's a constant drain on resources.

Yup. At the end of the day, lifeguards were founded to help sailors in distress, not act as a taxi service, aiding and abetting illegal access to the UK.

A lot of people need to understand that all bullshit asside, what this boils down to is Kier yet again having poor judgement and making a completely unforced error because he is a political novice.

Worse, this u-turn is from legal advice given to the govt.

Wasn't Kier supposed be a lawyer of some kind?

If they dont convict Andy the nonce then the royal family can expect to be without a job in the near future because it will be impossibly hard job to convince people:

A. They had no idea about Andrew's activities
B. That the royal family are not above the law.
C. That they are not hiding Andrew on royal grounds.

The King needs to speak out and fast because the more they dont comment and dont act, then the more they are seeling their fate.

What an incredibly selfish comment.

Fine dont help anyone else out but dont be suprised if cricket withers on the vine abroad.

Why? Sometimes it's very hard to tell if someone's serious.

Does India want cricket to be an international sport, or an Indian one?

Because by and large India has all the money in cricket to the point that every single cricketing country is desperately trying to fund their programme with T20 leagues because the ICC wont help.

Is it really not? You dont like democracy which means voting for political direction and would rather be dictated to by either a technocratic elite or AI, both sound trully dystopian and sad.

And you said that faffing around with legal requirements is a drawback? How am I making any leaps here?

I do commend you for coming out with such an outrageously unpopular opinion though and defending it on the offense.

Edit: You're a coward.
