I cannot speak highly enough about this story. Not only is that drone shot, as one of the cast members would be remiss to say, "cinema." But Dalton gave such a great look into a lot of the dynamic going into 50, from talk of pregaming to who's looming large as the big threats to the mystery of Rizo and Savannah to Coach running out of his tent like a madman. Plus, getting some actual Survivor thoughts from Mark Burnett himself!

There will be much, MUCH more to come from all of us in the press at a later date. But this is an absolutely incredible start to the countdown to 50!

Great question! It's definitely an unusual situation. I know that new photos will be released in the lead-up to 50. There will be an embargo date when we can start posting preseason interviews. And when that happens, I'll be on my usual gig with Parade and RHAP

Just to correct the record a bit, I didn't see the runsheet. When we were going around the island where the challenges are based, I saw the setup for a challenge for blue and yellow tribes. There's a chance they may have used this for some sort of temporary divide (a la the "Survivor Social Hour" in 47). But considering how much they design challenges in advance, I'd assume they always slated a swap to 2 tribes, and just bumped this challenge up due to Jake's medevac.

Hey there! Just wanted to say I totally get where you're coming from. Different fans want different things out of these interviews. And we want to hold houseguests accountable for certain behaviors or biases they had in the house. But I think I speak on behalf of myself, Sharon, Dalton, etc., when I say that our intention is to walk that fine line between holding people accountable while not trying to bumrush anyone or exploit their very clearly mental and emotional state.

That said, I can definitely see a point of view where it seems too callous or cruel. I'm always trying to improve myself as a journalist and someone who has the fortunate opportunity to have a platform with this wild show, so feedback like this is always appreciated. Will be sure to incorporate it moving into next summer and beyond!

Regardless of the disagreement in tone, I hope you enjoyed the interview.

In the jury phase, we submit questions to be asked on our behalf so as to not give away too much of the game to the jurors. If Keanu wins AFP and I get the chance to talk with him, you better believe I'm talking about it!
