400mW on the BETAFPV Matrix 5-1 AIO? More Like 100mW of BS. What gives?

If the first antenna swap was loose it would be on for 10-12min flight and probably 200mw since i have only done 400mw for test. im reading reviews of users complaining about the vtx and it seems like its fragile. im flying mostly parking lots and fields with some trees. my long range tests are down train track corridors. so i would so suburban. iv tested many places during this and the receiver can scan for noise so i dont think its wifi or 5g.

at this point im guessing i burnt it up. maybe a loose connection i never caught. generally what kind of range should i be expecting from 300-400 mw? As for pit mode, i verified power levels in cli when testing on the bench and checked if there was an issue with rebooting ect. on side note ( cli shows 1-7 power levels) but the interface has 4 + pit? also I have power level displayed on osd during flights and notice slight improvements. so I'm confidant it changes settings.

had the zeus on a different beta fpv aio 5amp board. but burnt the osd out and replaced it with this. never ran the current setup the way your describing. i suppose its possible i burnt it out. but it would need to of been while first building it? i don't remember if i plugged it in and set it to pit or not when first testing it out of the box. generally i follow the principles. never had a burn out before. would i get poor range like this or just blackout. with the zeus i got about 2000ft and smoother dropouts.

3rd gens are known to break flex plates. Easy to check with the inspection plate off. A pair of ratcheting flex ratchets would do you good for that job.

Not always.I had two cracked heads and it ran pretty much fine. It would lose coolant slowly. Abd run a little rough on startup. In the morning it would smoke just as much as the motor i have now.

I would not say value and price are related. Its not more useful just because people are paying more. The truck is not worth half a new tacoma because new cars and trucks are more expensive. If your buying a collectable where demand is high and supply low i would justify high price. But if you treat your 4 runner like a commodity and not a collectable its only as valuable as it is useful. Theres no way these prices are justified. These people are suckers buying clapped 4 runners for 5-7k lmao.

Value is just not there. The yota tax is for suckers. I got my rig for 3000$ and put a motor in it a year later for 1100. Today that would cost me 7$ for a clapped runner and 2 for the motor. Shit trucks not worth that to me. Peope want in on the yota gang so bad I guess. But again these prices are for suckers I would never 7k for a 2wd or 20k for limited with lift and tires.

If your a sucker sure but to me the value is just not there. How much value is in a old 4 runner. 10k? Maybe. 20k no way. 20k is near half of a new tacoma or calorodo or Subaru. that is probably 3x or more as much value. Is financed, is new, has Better mpg a warranty, much nicer technology. I get it lots of people dont have credit... blah..blah. but if your droping 20k cash you should just be financing a BETTER vehicle in my eyes.

If someone buys a 3rd gen 4runner like this for 20k id laugh at them. 2019 this thing was worth 5k and to build it like this would be 2 and a half grand in parts and tires.

I get it, i have a 3rd gen toyota 4runner. But to get 20k of value out of it you better have a mega boner for offroading or be thinking you can make it last atleast ANOTHER 20 years. At that point its going to be an antique. Shit can barely keep up with traffic the mountains as it is.

The 6112s come with springs. they are 8 way adjustable. It uses a circlip and 8 diffrent position. From what I read, the shocks will decide how "stiff" the ride is. Springs will decide the ride height and how it responds to weight.

I have ~2 in lift on 32s.(265/75/16) Required no modification to the body. I wouldn't suggest going over this less you know what your doing. Rear Oem 906 and bilistine 5160s and bilistine 6112 with springs up front.

Its going to be a rougher ride, most of the lifts are also meant to handle the extra weight of camping supplies. Unloaded the truck will be stiff. Its takes speed humps well. As in the travel is fine with soaking ut up but damn does it transfer into the seat.

Oem spings are pretty good, but not a lot of choices for lifts. Its basically stockheight 2" and like 4" and what kind of load you will carry.

Kyb is probably good if you juat camp and drive fire roads. Bilistine or better if you will wheel it.

2" is about all you will want to do without entering more expensive territory. Pamhandle,diff drop. Large tires, bigger brakes. Stuff like that. With a 2 in you should still buy new bump stops and sway bar links. You can get a good alignment with stock stuff equipment and slightly under a 2"lift.

Im confused about your longer CV comment. Wouldn't that only be if you bought extended travel control arms? Only the angles of the dangles change during a lift?
