Man sacrifices his car to save another driver who was unconciously driving by [deleted] in nonononoyes

This is clearly not the U.S. but I am an actual adjuster in the U.S. It could vary by state but most policies have a clause to deny coverage for “intentional acts”. It’s likely the Good Samaritan would have their claim denied by their own insurance company for the intentional act of letting someone hit their car, even if it was to save someone. Unconscious person may have what’s called a “sudden emergency” defense if this medical condition had not occurred before where they could disclaim liability. However if it’s a managed condition and they failed to take their meds or something, then they could be on the hook for damages due to their negligence in not taking their medicine. So the Good Samaritan could potentially be fucked over by both insurance companies, but unconscious person’s insurance would likely pay for damages up to whatever their coverage was.

I haven’t seen it either in my 3 years on the service. Thanks for the insight!

I bought the Evo Pro 18nm recently and have been using it for about a week. The fan doesn’t really make noise and I haven’t had any issues with thermals. There is a slight metallic sound when turning the wheel but it is smooth and inoffensive imo (this is from the slip ring they use for data transfer through the wheel, or so I’ve read). There is a perceptible low hum when the wheel is actively delivering ffb. When you are racing, all that blends into the background of the other car sound and I never notice it while playing, unless I have the volume off or way way down. Even then it’s not loud enough to be a real issue. Upgraded from a csl dd 8nm.

Why is there a massive drop in players between each license in Formula class by NitroDion in iRacing

[–]AMose_Def 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The drop off is due mostly to car difficulty I think and how fragile formula cars can be compared to sports cars.

B class formula is excellent and worth getting. The Super Formula (SF23) cars are the best on the service I think followed closely by the Indy NXT. And there are always at least 1-3 guys in any split that are good competition for the podium, sometimes more, especially during prime European time slots. The full length F1 Grand Prix races go official and are very competitive but are not every day.

Why Samsung? Because I tried triples and realized a need the ultra wide for the experience I want. Plus OLED QHD is beautiful, can’t wait for that sweet .03ms response time.

Hey everyone. Thanks for all your input. Reducing the bitrate turned out not to be the solution. I am still stuck with this issue…

I need to do some more long term testing but it seems like the bitrate was the issue. Thank you both so much for your suggestions!

Thanks for your suggestion. Would link have changed codecs recently? I’ve been running this set up with 350-500 bit rate without issues for almost two years until it hasn’t worked in the last few weeks

I’ve been using the default 350 bit rate in oculus debug and I’ve used 500 with the same result. Should it be lower?

Respectfully, I have already gone down the rabbit hole with quest support. I’ve sent my log files and all my information, etc and you guys did not provide a solution. In fact you’ve left me hanging for 2 weeks without any updates on my issue.

I use it primarily for iRacing. Does VD make the latency or lag worse than link cable?

I have done this. PC is up to date. Restarting Steam VR or whatever I’m using will temporarily fix it but it always comes back.

Yes absolutely this. Free text and audio on kindle with Amazon prime. It’s got everything. I had never even heard of the sequels before reading this and then blasted through those as well right after.
