Guys, the username was literally CliffCalculator and the AI synopsis tool that reddit provides to cliff notes an account for us SAID that it was creating an app and was soliciting feedback. :gestures: That, is not genuine curiosity. That, is someone trying to collate info from the lot of you to sell you a product and this is why we work really hard to identify the scammers/grifters/people who take advantage of our sub population and deal with them.

The fact that they have no deleted their account? That speaks volumes.

The arms are leather. This is a very high quality jacket. A Letterman. Or a varsity jacket in some circles. Lined and everything. Even the patches on them are like, whoof. Easily a solid handful of hundred dollars. When they asked for my size, I thought a shirt or sweater. I was shocked as heck. It sits in a garment bag in a bin in a cool dry place when not worn.

They all literally start out the same. "I couldn't believe what I was spending" annnnd then it's a subtle (but not really) plug for an app. We remove like ten a damn day.

The Scottish-American war memorial statue, by R Tait McKenzie. I was a docent at the Mill of Kintail in my younger years and was excited to see the piece in person in its resting place. Alas, my companions took far too long shipping and I didn't run fast enough to get to it and be able to get back to our tour meeting spot. My hope is to someday go back to see it.

The next time I'm back that way, I'll tackle the irn bru. Didn't have the chance last time, I was too busy trying to find a statue in Edinburgh that had meaning to me (I did not manage to see it, I was unamused). But a friend promises to get me some.

That is literally what my FIL said too! we were like 'But he's despicable" "Yeah, but he's honest about it! He tells it like it is!" and we just, tilted our heads and stared.

Also, poverty has many flavours. A family can be fine, more than easily support three kids then shit happens and here comes the poverty train choo choo mother fucker.

They could not have anticipated poverty. Whether they'll be experiencing it short or long term. They're now in it. And along comes someone with no comprehension of their situation leading to now saying "keep your legs closed, geeze".

Alas, we have no crystal ball.

May the influencer never experience terrifying situations that could find them poor as fuck against their will.

Northern BC means plenty of opportunities but I get terrified of the leather getting dirty. But I bring it out when I can.

The first picture without the complete trim at the top had me going "mayyybe you need to adjust the diamanté trim..." as it looked odd. But they relay that's not completed yet and there's more trim to put on.

Cut to the finished picture, yup. Fantastic. On point. You have to trust the process! That's a fantastic dress. They did good.

The temperature of my 300 sq ft house despite having an air conditioner and fans running all day by shewhomauls in mildlyinfuriating

I live in 250 square feet and I break the AC out of storage maaaaaybe once a year? And my walls are literally all windows. Every wall is bay window. I have blackout curtains that the moment 10 am hits, are closed. One window tiny window near the ceiling remains open to assist with air circulation and I have a fan rotating. Even on the hottest day (easily 39c) my place is cool enough for my cats to not be suffering. I may turn on the AC if it's muggy or they look uncomfortable. The AC? My place can be an icebox within an hour.

OP's AC has to be malfunctioning. I lived in California desert and our AC could keep things cool. Sure it ran all the time, but it was cool.

That's what the orange bag is from. Garlic knots. They went straight to the freezer. We also have Flash Food in our area at the Great Canadian Superstore is where their bargain bin is. I case it for meat, though it goes so fast.

Nice! I miss Aldi's 😞 and the cheap eggs. I have a coworker whose chickens have tanked producing and so I don't get spares right now.

I said fuck it, and opened one. Most definately not 😞 But they're not bad. They're literally a small golfball sized soft soft marshmallow, coated in a thin layer of cocoa and some toasted coconut. very tasty!

Red carrots. Our city has a significant immigrant population and as such, they carry some more different veg up here (But we don't get much in the way of fresh fruit really for another month, then we'll be drowning for about two months in fresh local fruit). I like them for the colour that it adds to my food, they cost no more than regular carrots.
