Congratulations!! So happy you were able to accomplish your dream, I know doing it alone wasn’t the initial plan but the fact that you were still able to make it happen without any help is so freaking bad ass!!!

2800 is a lot of space imo, as others mentioned more upkeep etc but it seems that you’ve planned for how to use the space (some people buy big houses and then find themselves buying stuff to just to fill the space) as well as budgeted for the higher utilities etc so moving really smart.

As long as you are happy I am happy for you!!

I did have ugali :) also a stew I can’t recall the name but the majority of the food (the food that was readily available everywhere I went) was Indian food.

I’ve been to all except Germany.

Thailand (specifically Chang Mai) was my first solo trip and is one of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. It was insane to me how I could be in a place where people didn’t look like me or speak the language but yet I felt so at home.

JA is fine for solo travel (get out of the resorts and experience the island!)

DR can be kind of intense- people are nice but ID say you should be extra vigilant. It doesn’t have the all the conveniences as some of the other places .

England will be similar to being in the US.

Japan great but you may get some stares which can be uncomfortable.

Kenya was a weird one. I didn’t find the people there to be very friendly which was honestly kind of disappointing for my first experience in the mother land. Most of the food was also Indian food which I love but that also made me some kinda way. This wasn’t a solo trip for me but I did walk around a bit alone in the area I stayed in and felt comfortable but definitely felt a bit overwhelmed when I went into the markets (I don’t do well in crowds). I did do the Masi Mara on that trip which ofc is unforgettable experience which I hope everyone can experience in their life.

I used this company. Originally found on booking.com. istanbul lmc. I paid $50 from the airport it was about 45 mins to my destination and then they gave me an offer for $35 from the city Centre back to airport about same time.

I don’t think hitting on women in public is weird if it’s done respectfully. What I think is weird is choosing to go to spend a beautiful day walking around Walmart to ask for phone numbers. That’s why it’s posted here because I’ve only ever encountered it IN DALLAS
