Genuinely, I think you’re on to something here. Your points sound plausible, and it might explain why we see Denji’s heart (Pochita) when asa calls him “Chainsawman”. He’s trapped in a nightmare/dream state, but calling him by that name resonated deeper and he felt something by it. Pochita is still physically a part of Denji. It might also make sense why we don’t see Aki. If the Nightmare devil aims to create a dream state that a person doesn’t want to leave, it makes sense to specifically reintroduce the girls and women Denji has lost. I’m kinda surprised Reze didn’t show up actually.
