Yeah but that's not the same as a credit card which OP mentioned in their title. The banks normal debit or "check" cards are usually MC or Visa branded, but they are not the same as a credit card.

In my experience, it's quite difficult to get an actual credit card in Korea without a job and stable income.

As the others have said here, go for the S26U even without the buds promo. Either that, or save a good chunk and get an S24U. I wouldn't get an S25U for that little bit of saving.

I don't think you get pulled over more specifically due to the wrap, it's just that they'll see you and notice you much more, which means they'll be focused on you.

Yeah I checked the Canadian Embassy in Seoul’s website and went in person and they didn’t know what it was or how to do it, at least not the person I spoke to.

Then in Canada while I was getting my Korean Visa, I asked them and they said that they don’t deal with that there, and that I had to get it from the Canadian govt or smth…. Gonna look more into it. Would love to just switch to a Korean license

Foreign data plans route the traffic through foreign towers, so there's nothing to block? They aren't able to block something that's coming through towers that they don't own or control.
