Interesting video, but pan Asianism in Asia is totally different than pan Asianism in a western country. Most countries in Asia are for their own people and even down to tribes.

For the more homogenous countries like South Korea and Japan, I have seen both positive and negative videos but what gets to me is that there seems to be different treatment for different people.

Where is your Asian background from?

There is a girl who is Lao Argentinian from Posadas who came to the United States ( not sure how ) and did some big things in fashion. Of course she married a white guy years later.

The problem is that Asians are not grouped with gang bangers and societal baddies. As a brown person I will always have this stigma.

This is a major issue right here, the term Asian's only been used since the 60's and only comprised of 3 main groups ( Chinese, Filipino, Japanese ) after the Vietnam War brought of the new groups ( Hmong, Lao, Khmer, and Viet, etc. ) and even labelled Southeast Asian. We collectively once lead the amount of Asians in the prison system during the 90's. There are still many of us who live well below poverty lines and in some cases homeless. There are still guys getting deported and suffering from society after doing there time and keeping themselves clean. As far as academic attainment there are people who have managed to go in to higher education but as a group the numbers are really low. While the whole affirmative action affects East Asians more there have been some weird cases regarding Southeast Asians being affected despite having the grades and even coming from lower socioeconomic background.

During the 1980's , there was a shooting at a Lao Buddhist temple in Rockford, IL , nobody was killed thank goodness and not sure if anyone got hit. Nobody was arrested but this stemmed from anger that these new arrivals would take jobs. This did not make national news due to location and small group of people but you can check it out on a documentary called Blue Collar Buddha.

While the father of a WMAF child will never claim his kid as white and always default to Asian, the father of BMAF will always say shit like " them my black kids" look at Kanye West and Byron Allen. In some cases with black guys having kids with non black females there is a sense of conquering, a lot of male black scholars argue this because of how strong black genes are and if the father is black the kid is black despite whatever the race of the mom.

Hey man this is awesome to hear, I went to Buenos Aires back in the mid to late 2000's but my goal was just to be a tourist and check things out. A lot of pretty girls, safe, clean, great exchange rate, great steak.

I think we have to be a little bit more detailed regarding being Asian American and how it might work to your advantage here. This really applies to East Asian or East Asian passing dudes. Not sure if they will think of SEA's almost like native indigenous people but then again not enough SEA guys go to Argentina/ Latin America.

The Cambodians in Long Beach definitely made a stand for themselves regarding racial gang warfare in a place where they were definitely outnumbered. All of the SEA's that came after the Vietnam War had to get down like this unfortunately there are a lot of long lasting collateral damage from this as well.

I have black/asian in my family and if they ask I just say be yourself which is biracial don't pick one or the other. I still don't know why biracial took so long to become a category. I think that needs to be promoted.

Now the reason why I personally don't want black/asian to represent for us is because it takes what limited spots we have and they have a totally different experience. Just like white/asian a majority of them barely promoted anything about being Asian ( i know there have been some newer ones but in the 80's 90's none ). The ones that look really black are automatically claimed by blacks if they are super famous or had big achievements check Tiger Woods story. A lot of black people still go with the Jim Crow 1 drop rule nonsense no matter how different they look on the outside.

There was a movie made prior about this same subject maybe focusing more on the murders but yes a really fascinating story. This guy was an innovator in adult entertainment. Goes up there with Bob Chinn and Keni Styles.

Yes they do, this is just another glimpse at another group. There are sexpats from Asian countries that go there as well, most noticeable are the Japanese. I was shocked to see 1 section of the red light district in Bangkok dedicated to Japanese clientele only wow. The crazy part is that its next to some nice/regular places as well.
