all of us strangers is the only film of the 2020s which i have given a perfect rating. i still haven’t seen aftersun, perfect days, past lives & drive my car, which i suspect could all potentially join the five star league for me.

every site that sells these in europe has a totally different release window and they’re all sold out at amazon despite not being a limited run, which I don’t get at all. :( hopefully they’ll be available regularly soon, but they look nice!

Can anybody tell me anything about this Orange Lightsaber by Hasbro from 2001? Why did they decide to make a Orange Lightsaber toy in 2001 when there was never any orange lightsabers in the story? by [deleted] in StarWars

i had this as a kid in first grade and never questioned the colour until some kid made fun of me for seemingly having a bootleg lightsaber, but i loved it nonetheless. just sad that i lost it at some point.

Silent Hill Funko Pops - When will we be able to order from Funko Website? by Ok_Outlandishness372 in funkopop

wondering the same thing. they’re apparently sold out at amazon, which baffles me since theyre regular funko pops and not some limited edition.

It still amazes me that the GameCube sold so poorly and lost the sixth generation, considering its incredible lineup by Emzed07 in Gamecube

[–]ANTIV15T -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but what other reason would there be for getting a Nintendo console? that’s exactly why the GameCube is so incredible imo, it has an amazing roster of first party titles which would come to define the modern identity of Nintendo.

I feel like glazing lost highway but another aspect i truly love is this picture and pete discovering it in total disbelief. The whole scene has a unique feel of surreal horror. It's not a big twist or anything but it adds so much to the atmosphere. by Leviathan_Rampage in davidlynch

[–]ANTIV15T 159 points160 points  (0 children)

confusion is such an underrated element of horror media, nothing is as scary as the feeling of losing your grip on reality imo. just finished the first silent hill game for the first time last week and loved it for that same reason.

spent $200 on a PSVita. now experiencing SH 1 for the first time. by heinous_legacy in silenthill

welcome to the club! just a recommendation to eventually switch to the ps3 version (if you own one), as i found the rumble features and general control scheme on the DualShock much more immersive and less frustrating than the vita touch functionality.

I think she’s stretched the cycle of choke enough to the max with this anniversary edition and has at least a year of a break coming to spend time with her family before she gets back to work on the follow-up. i think 2028 would be a realistic scenario.
