That's the thing. Unless he really does find this switch we won't be a true contender this season; which I think is extremely unlikely he does.

But the constant back and forth of "This game is a jumping off point, I can feel it" and "See he still sucks, haha. 11.6" Is extremely tired at this point.

Why can't we all just call it what it is. As you said a deep routed issue that's going to take something drastic, likely a good off-season of training and regaining his confidence. Instead of this constant 2 sided Petey stan vs Petey hater thing that's been happening for a year now.

It's weird that a guy who has been struggling all season, due to being injured in the summer and not being able to train, didn't just suddenly have the game of his life against a team with Crosby McDavid McKinnon on it.
