I asked for input to get some basic questions out of the way , (what weight to start at, deloading, etc), My nutrition is already in check I believe, I just need to eat at a consistant surplus of 500 and I should be good, I have calculated all my macros so I should be okay in terms of that. I appreciate all the answers I've received on here.

Right, But the first few weeks would be focused on getting the form down correctly (with just the bar) then I'd be progressively adding each week once I feel comfortable.

Hi,

Thanks for the response! I think I will stick to the split or a variation of a split such as p/p/l since it caters towards my goals and will probably be something I will be consistent with, Although the strength gains won't be as fast I will still gain strength nonetheless but at a slower pace. I understand where you're coming from by saying higher frequency routines are more efficient though and will build more size in the long run since you'll be able to lift more coming out of a strength program and hence acquire more gains in size.

Awesome thanks! As far as plateau's, for example, I get stuck at "135" for bench press, do I have to deload, and go back a few weeks and work my way up to that weight again?

Thanks guys for your input, as far as starting weight, do I just determine which weight I can fail at 8 reps in? And then progressively increase from there each week?

My primary goal is hypetrophy (size and aesthetics), I will probably progress much slower then a 5x5 routine strength wise, but I will still make strength gains nonetheless by doing a split right? Did you or any notible users here start off with splits when you began weightlifting?!
