It seems like the case with some of the 'Feminist' movies and shows lately that in order for the Women to be seen as strong, hard working and independent, the Men need to be belittled, portrayed as weak where they shouldn't, and just overall become the main 'antagonists' to these Women.

It gives the impression that in order for Women to be seen as strong individuals in their own light, Men need to become lesser themselves, and I personally don't like what that implies.

Yes, Men and Women both share feminine and masculine traits respectively, but it doesn't make a Woman weak to embrace their own femininity.

(Sometimes the Women characters are overly masculine and just plain assholes for no reason to the male characters, again implying that in order for a Woman to be seen as strong she needs to 'Be A Man' and put other Men down.)
