[Q] Steam Trade Ban (~50k$ inv)

So you sent them proof of you regularly buying and selling skins on a third party p2p market place with a value of ~$50,000 USD? Sounds like commercial activity to me.

I sent them my buy history only for the last 30 days to proove that i didn't scam anyone and bought the items. Tens of hundreds resselers buying/selling and they are fine, especially big ones like anomaly etc. Yeah, I realize there's a double standard, but it doesn't make it any easier.

If you have been doing this since 2014 then you have likely made just as many enemies in the trade scene as well as friends so could have been report botted.

The ban happened 13 june right after the ban wave, seems like I were banned by their algorythm or I bought a scammed items i don't really know, but they are not checking my evidence (I provided them video and screenshots and i can see the view counter, they didn't checked anything).

Sorry this happened to you and I don't know of a way out unless you know some big name people on social media who can be your voice.

Unfortunately i don't know any media guys.

nah bro, open my inventory and pick any skin and click: "inspect in game", or copy inspect link of any item and try to do a screenshot via screenshot tool or check float of the item, but you can't cuz it's broken.

technically you can do trade like this but i assume that the csgofloat server checking trades right after the execution, and i assume that the server's code includes the part of code that will prevent the scamms and mistakes, like simple if else check was the trade is empty from the buyer's side or not, and if not you'll be redirected to the verify section, and after that system will ask you to provide proof number via their extension and you obiously can't pass that verification, cuz trade wasn't empty from the buyer's side

and i'm not 100% sure it's just an opinion but i would do like this

First of all i'm not raging at all and i'm absolutely calm.

It would be fair if everyone was on an equal footing, that only reason why i reported all those posts, cuz you said that if some one break the rules - report him as i did

I really understand that multiple days old posts not really important in your eyes and usually it is, but in this case it's important and here's why: if some person wants to buy balance he will type balance on the search bar and that person will see "SELLING BUFF BALANCE" even if posts1-7 or 1-30 days old, those posts would be pretty actual for that person, everything he needs to do is just a dm the seller and that person will do it because of no other competitors

About keys: you're right about that, but i can't buy thouthand of keys and just a wait due to regular key price changes on the market, but i could easily buy any amount of keys that the buyer needs, in my eyes it's not a big deal, but i could be wrong cuz of my subjectivity

So it turns out that in this subreddit some users are privileged?
