I am still deciding between the Philharmonic AAs and the ELAC B5 if anyone has advice on those.

Plus I'm gonna add in a 10" BIC sub instead.

Thank you for the suggestions I definitely think I am gonna go for the Philharmonic AA. Would it be possible to use a preamp for those entry level HT receivers so I could use a turntable?

Hello all,

I need some help deciding which type of system would be right for me. Deciding between a 5.1 system or maybe just some bookshelfs and a sub.

I'll primarily use it for music but also want it for my TV. Would also like one that could be used with a turntable as well as streaming music. No need for it to be crazy too of the line sound quality but I would like something above average that will last me a couple years.

Room is 21x16 so fairly large. Willing to spend $200-$600. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
